Presbyterian Support East Coast (PSEC) delivers $11 million worth of vital social services throughout the East Coast region, with the help of 220 staff and over 200 volunteers.
PSEC provides counselling, social work and parenting programmes for children and families subjected to poverty and family violence through its Family Works service; It also delivers a wide range of services, support and programmes for elderly and disabled people through its Enliven Older People and Enliven Disability services.
Although some government funding is received, PSEC is responsible for raising the $1.6 million shortfall to ensure that these services remain free to the people who need them most.
