Age Concern Wairoa serves the needs of older people through information, education & awareness, activity programmes, tai chi,elder abuse & neglect service, visiting, transport, advocacy.

Health and Disability Support Groups and Contacts Yes Our Elder Abuse Coordinator is available cases of abuse and neglect. She can be contacted on 06 838 3256.
Community Organisations Yes An organisation of caring and friendly people dedicated to improving the lifestyle and welfare of older people.
Relationship and Counselling Services Yes Trainee councillor is available for consultation.
Fitness and Recreation Yes Tai Chi, social groups, group speakers, trips and outings. Sit and Be Fit classes Tuesdays and Thursdays at 11am.
