All Age Concern Branches have knowledge of their local area and can provide advice and information about services that are available for older people. A range of services and health promotion activities are provided locally by all Age Concerns.

August  2017 with Age Concern CHB

TEA/COFFEE

Tea/coffee morning will be held at the Masonic Lodge from 10am onwards on Friday 11th & 25th August. Transport Available $4.00.  Don’t forget the sales table. Door $3.00, Raffle $2.00.  All welcome. 

CARDS 500

A group meets every Tuesday at the office from 1pm till 3.30pm.  $2.00 fee.  Come and join in. 

 RUMMIKUB

A group meets every Friday afternoon from 1pm to 3.30pm.  All welcome.    Cost: $2.00. 

SIT AND BE FIT SESSION

Every Tuesday at Masonic Lodge Hall.  9.30am start followed with a cup of tea.  Instructor: Frances Heke, Physiotherapist.  Cost $4.00.  All welcome.  Transport available.  

OPERATUNITY

Thursday 31st August.  “The last night of the Proms” .   Cost: $46.00 (tickets have gone up $2.00).

COMBINED TRIP

Wednesday 23rd August  - Trip to Norsewood.  Visit Norsewear Factory, tour, eel pond, museum and shops.  Cost:$12.00 includes transport & museum.  Lunch you cost at the Hatuma Café.  Meet at the office at 9.30am

 Napier Trip

Friday 18th August —to Napier Warehouse followed by lunch at the Napier RSA.  Meet at office at 9am.  Cost: $15.00 plus lunch your expense
