Glenburn Retirement Village is a new welcoming, modern retirement village in the New Lynn neighbourhood offering you independence and community, in a safe environment.
At Glenburn you will enjoy a warm, spacious and homely apartment with lots of natural light. All apartments contain: - A well designed, modern kitchen - An open-plan lounge and dining area - An en-suite bathroom - A full white-ware package – washing machine, dryer, fridge/freezer and dishwasher - A heat pump – to stay warm in winter and cool in summer The sense of community is strong here as is the feeling of a secure long-term future that comes from having care options next door at Glenburn Rest Home and Hospital. Seven days free respite care each year are offered if you need it. This could be used for short term, temporary care in our rest home to help you recover from illness or surgery. All residents have priority access to the rest home and hospital, should this care be required in the future. Having an on-site rest home and hospital provides the perfect set-up for couples too. If your partner is in poor health, you can still live close to each other and have your respective needs met. We also offer cleaning, meals and laundry services to all residents for an additional fee. Glenburn is part of the Bupa group of rest homes, hospitals, retirement villages and personal medical alarms. We are a private company, and because we have no shareholders, we can invest what we earn to make improvements that help us provide better care. As part of the global Bupa group, we are able to provide superior clinical support, while focusing on helping each of our residents get the most out of each day.
