Hi I’m Grace. I am 9 years old and I am reviewing a book called House of Robots: Robots go wild by James Patterson.
In this book the main character is Sammy and his mum makes robots. There is one robot called E (the E stands for egghead) and he goes to school for Maddie, Sammy’s little sister, so that makes Maddie the most popular kid in school. One day a new robot comes into school called SS-10K and he acts like he is a super hero. A few days after that Penelope in Maddie’s class makes E go MAD! But now everyone is starting to wonder if SS-10K did it.
I am looking forward to finding what happens next. I like the book a lot. It is very interesting I would recommend it for anyone who likes robots that’s 7-10 years old.
From the publishers website:
In book two of the House of Robots series, it’s ‘bot brains versus ‘bot brawn in an all-out war!
Sammy Hayes-Rodriguez and his ‘bro-bot’ E are making new friends every day as E works as his bedridden sister Maddie’s school proxy. But disaster strikes when E malfunctions just in time to be upstaged by the super-cool new robot on the block – and loses his ability to help Maddie. Now it’s up to Sammy to figure out what’s wrong with E and save his family!
