Photography has been a dominant part of my life. It has allowed me to make a good living and to never lose the passion for the creative process. I get real pleasure in mentoring those who are seeking to take their photography to a higher level. As a publisher of coffee table books, I have travelled to many hidden corners of this beautiful Bay of Plenty. I will share these dramatic locations to inspire the participants on this exclusive tour. Bob Tulloch FNZIPP.

Service Description
Service Description
My tours are geared toward the photo enthusiast whether at beginner or advanced level. Because we don't want partners who are non photographers to miss out, we provide alternative tours on some days for golfers or fisher people. Many of the photo locations have excellent walks for those purely wanting some exercise. My role is to be your host and mentor. We have a professional driver and luxury mini coach and we travel easy distances each day. Lunch is provided and we take you out to a nice restaurant each evening. This is part of the package. Your 5 night accommodation is at the 4.5 star, Colonial Court motel, actually owned by a very talented photographer who will also be a guest speaker.
The financial confirmation of your booking will be co ordinated by Shane Kennedy House of Travel, Tauranga.

Special Features
Special Features
Tauranga has a 700 year history of Maori heritage and our tour starts with a visit to a Marae. You will be accorded a traditional welcome and have an opportunity to learn of their history, and current involvement. Kiwifruit is a hugely important industry in the Bay of Plenty, accounting for 70% of New Zealand's export volume. We visit a working orchard and learn from Graeme Crossman (ex All Black), why it is such a perfect growing environment.
You will visit unique gardens, bush walks, waterfalls, wonderful vistas, quaint cafes and meet some local characters. The photography will have some elective dawn and dusk photo shoots, and opportunity to share each others images.

Tauranga is "anchorage for waka", 'Bay of Plenty" was Captain James Cook's description. Together this is a place blessed by nature and I also feel blessed to be able to share it with friends of the photography fraternity, who love the adventure of creating images. Come and join me for 5 days of fun and adventure in February. There are regular non stop flights from Christchurch, and you don't even need a passport!
