BUPA Riverstone is a brand new village that will contain 72 villas ranging from one bedroom, standard 2 bedroom and a larger two bedroom unit with more living space and a 2nd or guest toilet. At this time 44 villas are completed and available and 100% are now sold or under contract, which is a remarkable take up rate. But there are still lovely well positioned villas to choose from. All have internal access single garaging.
After mid 2020 the final 28 villas will commence to be built making up the final total of 72 villas.

We moved into our lovely new community centre at the end of 2019. This is a fantastic facility and a real boon for the village.

Riverstone village will commence building its care facility immediately at the start of 2020. This will contain 56 rooms of rest home/hospital level rest home care, 14 serviced apartments and a Dementia unit. We hoping to be at or nearing completion and use by the end of 2020.

This will be Palmerston North's newest village and as well as moving into brand new villas with village facilities to match, it means we are actively selling and available to move into. NOTE: The Retirement Villages Act 2003 (The Act) is designed to provide improved protection for people who ‘buy’ into a retirement village. If you intend to ‘purchase’ you must get independent legal advice before signing your occupation right agreement as required under The Act. Some Retirement Village type facilities are not required to register under The Act so different legal requirements apply. Please make sure you investigate fully.

In some villages there may be some Retirement Village units that have multiple uses e.g. a Serviced Apartment may also be used as a Residential Care Suite. The same unit may therefore show in several places on Eldernet.
