Testimonials
All the staff have been tremendous and supportive of Dad, and to me also. The carers and nurses have been very professional, the nurses being informative in respect of dads status. They have been sensitive to dads circumstances and demonstrably caring. It is reassuring that your team is of such quality. Thank you. For me, the most important aspect when choosing a care home is always the people. And the most important people to ensure good care for Mum are the health-care assistants and nursing staff. When I looked through Wesley, I could see that the staff were relaxed and enjoying their work. They had good rapport with each other and the residents, which was a good sign What I like about Wesley is the way the rest home is laid out with wide, carpeted corridors, large rooms with ensuites (the largest I've seen in Auckland), lovely light lounges to relax in, and an informal atmosphere. I'm glad that Wesley is not flashy but located in a classic 60s? building with informal homely décor that's calm rather than overwhelming. The beautiful environment of Wesley with its lovely driveway of mature trees and an outlook over the city is an added bonus, as is easy access from motorways and the CBD plus ample parking. |
