Registered Nurse 24/7 Yes We have full time registered nurses dedicated to this area, as well as our highly skilled Clinical Manager, who overviews the clinical care of all residents in the care centre.
Activities Co-ordinator Full Time Yes We have a wonderful activities team who put together a comprehensive monthly calendar with exciting events to enjoy. These include activites around the village, one on one time and outings around Lower Hutt.
Other Personnel Yes We welcome visitors to our care centre and should you require the services of specialists we will assist you in accessing the appropriate people to meet your requirements.
Hairdresser Yes We have a fully equipped hairdressing salon at the village - please pop in to make an appointment.
Physiotherapist Yes We have a physiotherapist who frequently visits residents in the village. Please let reception know if you would like to make an appointment.
Chaplain Yes We welcome visitors to our care centre and should you require the services of specialists we will assist you in accessing the appropriate people to meet your requirements.

NOTE: The Retirement Villages Act 2003 (The Act) is designed to provide improved protection for people who ‘buy’ into a retirement village. If you intend to ‘purchase’ you must get independent legal advice before signing your occupation right agreement as required under The Act. Some Retirement Village type facilities are not required to register under The Act so different legal requirements apply. Please make sure you investigate fully.

 

In some villages there may be some Retirement Village units that have multiple uses e.g. a Serviced Apartment may also be used as a Residential Care Suite.
