Concord House is unique, small size rest home aimed at providing excellent personalised care for our residents.
Caregivers are available 24hrs a day and can help residents with all daily cares including dressing, bathing, eating etc. Ask us about any special needs you may have and we will look for ways to accommodate them.
Our staff are trained to help those with dementia, difficulties eating or swallowing, difficulties walking/mobilising, difficulties in communicating and other physical or mental challenges. Please enquire if unsure.
We also have a day-care service at very affordable rates if you/your relative needs some assistance/watching in the day time.
Our friendly and multi-cultural staff provide support for elderly from many different origins. If you have an elderly relative who speaks Tongan, (Chinese) Mandarin, Cantonese, Hindi, and of course English we have a staff who speak your language, and a very inclusive programme to suit you.
We have daily activities for residents and outings to local parks or shops every few weeks (pre/post covid-19). Please enquire if you have any social preferences you would like to have met.

Service Description
| We try to provide a comprehensive and wellness focused plan of care for each resident and their unique needs. Every person is different in their interests, tendencies and physical and mental condition, and when we admit any new resident our goal is to have them enjoy a safe period of care where they feel we have been responsive to their specific needs and requirements. We want our residents and family members to feel like this is a safe and joyful place where they can adequately express their needs and concerns. |

| We service all of Auckland and anywhere outside if patients are willing to come to us. Funding available will depend on where you are coming from but generally self funded residents are free to come from anywhere they like. |

Meeting the needs of older people
| We are happy to provide all the rest home level services and care including but not limited to regularly showering, personal hygiene cares, help with mobilising, toileting, eating, medications, and sleep routines. We take care of all meals as required and provide different beverages as suitable to the elderly. Please enquire directly if you have any questions and concerns. |
