Special Features
Special Features
Our facility, Watlington Wing, at Talbot Park, has been designed to offer our residents a comfortable, caring environment. We offer a number of lounge areas, all with interesting outlooks, there are small lounges for those who like their own space. These lounges are set up so our staff are able to able to provide assistance and supervision as required.

We have wide and clear circular walkways throughout, with handrails to encourage resident mobility and allow a feeling of freedom and space.

The decor is fresh and comtemporary, we have a selction of photos of old Timaru - a point of reminiscence for many of our residents.

Details about Meals Residents are offered a wide variety of food from the Timaru Hospital Kitchen. It is served on site to residents. Home baking is a feature of morning and afternoon teas. Special diets are catered for. Staff make additional sandwiches and other food treats are provided
Staffing Qualifications and Details We pride ourselves in our high standard of nursing care with Registered Nurses on duty 24 hours per day, seven days a week. Registered nurses are responsible for the direction and supervision of the Health Care Assistants

Parks 3.00 km We are set in 3 hectares of landscaped grounds which provides a park like setting. The best childrens play area is at the Botanic Gardens.
