A Home Equity Loan, also known as a Reverse Mortgage is a loan especially designed for the needs of seniors. It allows people aged 60 and over to convert part of the equity in their home into funding that can be used for any purpose.

You're not required to make regular repayments, although you are able to do so at any time.

Many people use it to fund home repairs, pay for medical procedures, travel to visit family or a host of other uses to make life easier and more comfortable.

My husband and I would like to express our gratitude to you in releasing a home equity loan to us. When we applied for the loan a year ago, life seemed to be just paying something off – there seemed no end to it. Since then your loan has enabled us to purchase a car, replace carpet and vinyl, install a Mr Merlin to the garage, install a TV aerial and replace shower fittings.

All of this would not have been possible but for people like you. We can’t express how much this loan has meant to us.

Many of us are now living in homes that hold the majority of our wealth, and by accessing some of this wealth without having to move, we can do the things we need or have always wanted to do.

The Heartland Home Equity Loan enables you to use some of the money tied up in your house without having to sell it. You do that by taking out a loan against your home. The total amount, including accumulated interest, is only repayable when you sell your property or move permanently from your home.

At Heartland Seniors Finance, we recognise the trust that those taking out a Heartland Home Equity Loan have placed in us. In return, and provided you meet your obligations under the loan, we make the following promises.
1. Lifetime Occupancy guarantee
Your home will remain the plae you live in for as long as you choose.
2. No Negative Equity guarantee
The amount required to repay the loan will never exceed the net sale proceeds of the property.
3. Loan Repayment guarantee
There is no requirement to make any loan repayment until the end of the loan.
