Description
Raeburn is situated adjacent to the ‘green belt’ in Cambridge, next to open paddocks and rural views. Our gardens are well maintained and we have recently refurbished most of the facility, bringing it up to the ‘homely hotel’ standard that is unique to Oceania.

Raeburn’s Health Care Assistants receive significant training through the Oceania Residential Care Course as well as a comprehensive annual training program covering CPR, First Aid, Health & Safety, Clinical Topics and Dementia and Palliative Care.

Good food is an important part of anyone’s quality of life and the people who live here enjoy home-style main meals from a menu designed by Oceania’s Dietitian.

In addition:

- We have a varied activities programme.

- We offer access to physiotherapists, podiatrists, hairdresser and clinical nurse specialists.

- All of our beds have the option of DHB funding available on them (if you are eligible for a care subsidy)

Located at 170 Burns Street, Raeburn offers Rest Home, Hospital level and Secure Dementia care.

To find out more, please contact Cushla, Manager, on (07) 827 4454.

Testimonials
'I was so impressed by the effort that has gone in to meeting a resident's needs by accommodating his lovely dog. It is lovely to see person centered care being provided so well'
- Staff at Disability Support Links

'To all the staff at Raeburn a very big thank you for the wonderful care you gave to Mum. She stayed alive as long as she did because of your dedication, and we were certainly lucky to choose Raeburn as Mum's Rest Home'
- Daughter of Former Raeburn Resident

'We would like to thank the staff who helped Mum through some difficult times. Without the help and understanding from the staff I'm sure things would have been harder. Mum seems fine now and things are on the up. Thanks again'
- Son of Raeburn Resident

'We can't speak highly enough of all that the Raeburn staff have done to make Dad as happy and comfortable as possible'
- Family of Raeburn Resident

'We think your care is wonderful - the staff are caring and compassionate, and the rooms are lovely'
- Family of Raeburn Resident

'The morning care givers are great with Mum. They listened to family advice on how best to settle Mum. Their responsiveness was much appreciated by Mum and the Family'
