Given the current COVID-19 environment we have temporarily disabled our ‘feedback’ feature. We apologise for any inconvenience.

Tucked away down a tree-lined driveway and set amongst stunning gardens, Otumarama is a charming boutique Rest Home in the centre of Stoke. From the staff who greet you in the hallways, to the fresh and inviting living spaces, at Otumarama you’ll feel right at home. There’s always something happening in our main lounge - find a friend to chat to or join in the day’s events. If it’s peace and quiet you crave, relax in the beautiful gardens, or settle in a comfy chair in one of our many cosy nooks.

We don’t have visiting hours at Otumarama because we know it’s important you stay connected to your community. It’s home so friends and family can join you anytime for a cuppa and catch up. We’re just around the corner from the Richmond-Nelson motorway and airport, so it’s a breeze for visitors to pop in, or get you out and about to local shops and cafes.

Hop in the village van for a jaunt, you’ll never know where it will take you next. A scenic drive or afternoon tea at the beach, there’s an exciting new destination each week. Or if it’s music you’re in to, enjoy your own personalised playlist with I Love Music. Join in the fun with our visitors from Canine friends or Nayland Primary School, exercise your green thumbs in the garden, or take part in our regular theme days and competitive seated-basketball games, there’s something for everyone no matter what you’re interested in.

Tender Sunday roasts, hot fish and chips and scrummy homemade puddings… there’s a reason why the dining room is full before dinner! All of the above are regular features on our menu, which is packed with tasty family favourites you’d make at home. You’ll be sure to want second helpings!

Great care is what we do, and we’ve got the accolades to prove it. You can be sure you’re in good hands. Oceania has won the Supreme Care Award from the NZ Aged Care Association 3 years in a row. When it comes to your care, you know what you like and don’t like - and we want to know too. Because everyone is different all of our residents get a personalised care plan where from meals to medications, everything that’s important to you is covered. We’ve also got a choice of Standard Rooms or stunning Care Suites so no matter your needs or budget, there are plenty of options.
