You are welcome to view our brochure.

Description
Maidstone Hospital is a small, intimate family-friendly hospital, with just 32 residents. Everything about Maidstone is comfortable and homely – from the large rooms, big enough for a sofa and coffee table, to our comfortable shared lounges. We are situated in the west of Christchurch, 10 minutes from the airport.

We offer day-care and short stays for those needing a bit of time out from caring.

We often receive compliments from our residents and their families about the kindness of our staff, and the “little extras” that they so willingly do. We make sure we get to know each of our residents well, using something we call the Map of Life. This helps us understand what has been important in each person’s life. It also helps us understand particular likes and dislikes, and each person’s preferences.

We know it is very important to offer choices and to really listen to what our residents and their families want. Making decisions together is a very important part of our philosophy. It helps us make each day the best it can be.

We would be delighted to have the opportunity to talk with you about our care. Please phone our community liaison coordinator, Sarah on 027 273 2113. She can help you with all and any information about moving into a care home, and about the choice of Bupa care homes in Christchurch. She’ll even meet you in your own home if you would like.
