Description
Bupa is proud to introduce, Rest Home, Hospital and Respite/Carer Support care at Lake Wakatipu Home and Hospital in Frankton, Queenstown. Our goal and commitment to you is to help your loved one live the best life possible, supported physically, emotionally and socially and to be as independent as possible. The quality of the care we provide is very important to us (and you can rest assured that it is excellent). We want everyone to feel that Lake Wakatipu Home and Hospital is their home - friends and relatives can come and go whenever they like, and are welcome to share meals (for a small charge).

Bupa goes the extra mile to ensure that our care has your loved one as an individual at the centre of it - choosing how we care, and what they do each day. At Lake Wakatipu Home and Hospital understanding what you and your family needs is paramount, because its individualised care we want to provide. We know that this means different things for different peole, so we take care to involve family, and make decisions together.

Lake Wakatipu Home and Hospital is a small homelike residence with cosy lounges and wonderful lake views from a number of our rooms. We offer Rest Home, Hospital, Respite and Carer Support and will work with you and your local hospital to ensure that the right care is provided to meet your needs. We can also guide and support you through the process of coming into a Care Home for the first time.

Lake Wakatipu Home and Hospital is now part of the Bupa group of rest homes, hospitals, retirement villages and personal medical alarms. We are a private company, and because we have no shareholders, we can invest what we earn back into our business to make improvements that help us provide better care. As part of the global Bupa group, we are able to provide superior clinical support, while focusing on helping each of our residents get the most out of each day. Bupa is one of New Zealand's leading aged care providers.

We would be delighted to have the opportunity to talk to you about our care. Please phone our Care Home Manager, Jane Ottrey-Webster, or feel free to drop in any time.
