MEMORY CARE- MONTESSORI CARE FOR SENIORS AND PERSONS WITH DEMENTIA

A first in New Zealand, bringing to life the worldwide proven Maria Montessori model of care for the elderly and persons with Dementia. The Montessori model of care promises to gain full client engagement through its simple humanistic approach based on the values of respect, equality and dignity. We take into account the client's abilities and strengths and use them to promote their independence. The Montessori care principles is truly the way to go to achieve quality of life no matter what the circumstances are.

We are a team of memory care specialist who are certified Montessori care providers. We believe in the principles that allow clients to flourish in their homes and continue to live a dynamic and meaningful life.


HOME CARE AND COMPANIONSHIP

Maybe your circumstances have changed and you need someone who will see you through your new phase of life. We understand your needs and know how important it is for you to be in the comfort of your home during this time. Maybe you just need a little helping hand. Let us work together to make things easier. Our staff are highly trained and competent in assisting your personal hygiene and grooming needs, help you with your meals and manage your household. Our Care managers are highly skilled Registered nurses who perform various clinical procedures e.g. wound care, bowel and stoma care, continence management, medication administration, pain management etc.

IN-HOME REHABILITATION SUPPORT

Health is a continuum process and we will help you adapt to the changes until good health and well-being renews again. If you require assistance to regain health and well-being from an accident and injury, post-operative surgery and other critical health therapies, we have a comprehensive recovery plan to assist you at this time. Call us to makes sure you have a pleasant experience along the way.

WORKING WITH RESIDENTIAL CARE HOMES

We believe that teamwork is the key to giving quality care. Our staff have all the right ingredients to fit a team. They are competent and are trained to undergo any tasks in a residential care environment. They show the values of compassion for residents and fellow staff members. They can relate to the challenges in any setting and will collaborate with the team to give excellent care.

PALLIATIVE CARE

Scott Holland understands that the end-of life process is one fraught with apprehension, fear and sadness. It is not every day that we experience losing our loved ones and just as quality of life is important, quality end-of-life is equally essential. We work with hospices and aged residential care homes to provide high-level palliative care. Our service is based on the fundamental concepts of pain-free and comfort care principles. We hope to be of help to you in giving the best end-of life care to your loved one.

HOLISTIC CARE

Holistic Care with Spiritual re-connection through meditation, healing and mindfulness.

The subject of spirituality is not for everyone but if you are one who has some interest, belief or is open minded to explore this dimension of health and well-being, we will connect you to the right people who are fully trained and certified in facilitating alternative healing modalities such as Reiki, meditation and mindfulness.
