Service Description
We are a quality day programme especially for seniors (over 65) We enhance peoples potential especially those with dementia and memory loss.We support the older person living in the community with respect care and dignity ,giving them a sense of wellbeing ,belonging and independence, and an opportunity to contribute to the wider community.

Suburbs/Districts/Towns Serviced
We provide a pick up and delivery service for those in the local area of Papamoa.and work in with Mount Maunganui RSA welfare who pick up people from the Mount.
Transport to and from the Centre is provided for those living from East Papamoa to Bayfair. Attendees outside of this region need to arrange their own transport.

We also have a Centre in Te Puke that provides a similar programme and service as Papamoa

Sitter Service/Companions No No No Not at the moment. Please feel free to talk with us about your needs as we may be able to find some solutions such as linking you into respite carers/sitters.
Personal Care (Showering, Dressing) Yes Yes No We will assist with personal cares in the event that an accident has occurred. However staff are not personal carers, they provide an Activity Programme, but all due care will be given when necessary.

Psychiatric Nursing. No However we have a close association with mental health services.
Stroke Rehabilitation. No but we link with the stroke foundation should issues arise.
Dementia Care Yes All staff have Dementia Care training and Facilitators are qualified Diversional Therapists
Psychologist Yes We can refer people to Mental Health Services
Social Worker Yes we have close links to a social worker
Diversional Therapist Yes we have 2 trained DTs on staff
Dietitian Yes we link with a dietian once a year to ensure our meals are suitible for our seniors.

Transport Assistance Yes Yes No We provide transport to centre. Beyond this we can refer you to the Total Mobility service and other agencies that may be able to help.
