Our Dementia service consists of a 14 bed Sumner Wing and a 27 bed Hillview Wing. Large rooms each with ensuite, sunny lounge with flat screen TV. Secure courtyard for each unit. Special Features
This is a 41 bed secure dementia unit. Every room has an ensuite. There is a lovely, secure outdoor garden with outdoor seating for residents and their guests to enjoy as they wish. Diversional Therapists provide a range of activities and entertainment for residents. Brookhaven, which also includes a Rest Home and Retirement Villas, is situated close to the Estuary, beach and the Lyttelton tunnel. We are close to Sumner, Heathcote and Lyttelton, and east Christchurch. We are on a main bus route as well as the main ring road around Christchurch. Golden Healthcare Group are proud to be local and take the time to assist you in your decision making on where to place your loved ones.
