Komatua Care Centre is a unique boutique facility in the heart of Devonport. We strive to offer a nurturing environment with compassion and understanding to our residents and their families. Our commitment is to excellence in dementia care.Though secure, the villa allows residents to interact with neighbours through an open verandah which gives a real sense of belonging to the local community. Resident families comment on the sense of home that the villa evokes which makes it so easy for new residents to settle and feel well. As the numbers are small there is a real sense of family and belonging. Add to this the staff qualities and the care is thus outstanding.
