Understanding what you and your family needs is paramount, because that’s the individualised care we want to provide. We know that this means different things for different people, so we take care to involve family, and make decisions together.
We often receive compliments from our residents and their families about the kindness of our staff, and the “little extras” that they so willingly do. The residents often say that they love the friendly environment and they feel very much at home.
We make sure we get to know each of our residents well, so that we can give care in the way they like. Through something we call the Map of Life, we understand each person’s preferences, likes and dislikes, as well as the things that have been important throughout each person’s life.
We know it is very important to offer choices and to really listen to what our residents and their families want. It helps us make each day the best it can be.
We would be delighted to have the opportunity to talk with you about our care. Please phone Alma Casey, our Care Home Manager, on 06 844 4969 or feel free to drop in at any time.
