We have Dementia level and rest home rooms available at our multiple locations.
Kauri Lodge offers a slice of tranquility in the heart of Riccarton. Nestled against Riccarton Bush in a quiet location with buses and the Westfield shopping Mall at the gate. We are a family focused boutique Rest Home offering personal service, with security, but still providing for your independence.
We have lovely, well appointed, new Studio Units available for Private Rental or for purchase. You do not need to purchase our studio rooms under an ORA as they can be occupied on a rental basis so no large upfront cost.
Kauri Lodge prides itself on having a homely enviornment with good home cooked meals and innovative activites.
Residents are offered a high standard of care, security, privacy, and independence in an environment which promotes good health and happiness with a family focus.

The Ministry of Health conducts regular audits of Residential Care Facilities. They can be found HERE.
NOTE: The Retirement Villages Act 2003 (The Act) is designed to provide improved protection for people who ‘buy’ into a retirement village. If you intend to ‘purchase’ you must get independent legal advice before signing your occupation right agreement as required under The Act. Some Retirement Village type facilities are not required to register under The Act so different legal requirements apply. Please make sure you investigate fully.
In some villages there may be some Retirement Village units that have multiple uses e.g. a Serviced Apartment may also be used as a Residential Care Suite. The same unit may therefore show in several places on Eldernet.
