How to use this Site
Menu Search- To begin, select the area of interest on the home page. Most sections have 'drop down' boxes. Make a more specific selection from this area eg Home Services (Help for those at Home)
- Select your region from the map page.
- The page that comes up, gives you the option of selecting 'VIEW ALL' or continuing to refine your search. We advise you to select the 'VIEW ALL' function first. This is due to the fact that as you refine your search your options decrease. For example: a service may lie on the boundary between two suburbs. What you might call the suburb and what the service provider may call it, could differ. By selecting 'VIEW ALL' in the first instance you also get a better overview and minimise the risk of missing out on the information that may be useful.
- To refine your search so that you can locate the features that are important to you, click the relevant tick boxes. The more boxes you tick: the fewer your results. Select ‘SHOW LIST’.
- The resulting list is arranged randomly with the Eldernet subscribers displaying first. Coloured icons indicate the type of information that may be viewed. The name address and contact numbers of other non-subscribing providers are listed following this. This list may also be arranged alphabetically.
- Select the services of your choice for detailed information.
You can support Eldernet by emailing those facilities/services whose page you have visited and telling them that you found information about them on Eldernet.
