MARNE STREET HOSPITAL on the Inlet

Nestled against the hillside in Andersons Bay, Marne Street Hospital lies amid environs that provide the residents with both a ringside seat to sporting activities in the neighbouring park and a tranquil outlook over the local inlet. The park provides a platform for activities such as the odd horse and cart ride, walks with family and kite flying. Activity abounds on the waters of the inlet as school children practice kayaking, birds roost on a purpose built structure, the odd seal comes to visit and residents periodically try their hand at fishing. The main lounge provides panoramic views of these areas, while another allows views of activities on local streets – the scenes are ever changing.
The staff at Marne Street Hospital aim to meet to a high standard the physical, emotional, social, and cultural needs of the residents. This is achieved by having an excellent team of staff qualified in caring for the older person.

At Marne Street Hospital, we place much emphasis on dignity and the rights of our residents, encouraging independence where appropriate and respecting choice in regard to care where possible. Pride in appearance is respected and laughter encouraged in a warm and inviting atmosphere. Marne Street Hospital is a modern, purpose built aged care facility
