Vision Statement
"Supporting dignified independent living for the elderly" Statement of Purpose "To provide a high quality, diverse and non-institutional living environment that is owned by and managed for the benefit of residents: a place where residents can enjoy the safety and security of medical, domestic and social support systems that are designed to uphold but not intrude upon their need and desire for independence. To ensure that these facilities are available to residents with as wide a range of life experiences and income levels as possible." Introducing the Ropata Village Concept. Ropata Village Trust offers a unique 'assisted living' experience within a stunning unit-titled apartment complex. Independence is cherished and supported, with family and friends welcome at all hours. A 'rest-assured' feeling is made possible by the blend of home and 24 hour professional care services. The Village management team comprises a Manager, a Registered Nurse, and an Administrator. A Trust Board, including family members of residents, is responsible for the financial and legal aspects of running the village. The Trust is a "not for profit" Charitable Trust registered with the Charities Commission under the Charities Act 2005. The beneficaries of the Trust are the owner occupiers of the apartments at Ropata Village. Our facility also offers these services: |

Unique? At Ropata Village Trust we think we're pretty unique. Our affordable boutique concept is operated by a "not for profit" Charitable Trust, owned by and managed on behalf of the residents. The apartment complex is light, bright and spacious. Apartments vary in size and are priced from around $75,000 to $140,000. Yes, we currently have studio and one bedroom unit-titled apartments for sale. Residents enjoy the benefit of being in their own home whilst enjoying the level of care, service and support that they require. Some residents will be quite independent and others will require more personal care and / or nursing assistance. For an appointment to view telephone Barbara or Steph on 04 920 0846. |
The Retirement Villages Act 2003 (hereafter referred to as The Act) is designed to provide improved protection for people who buy into a retirement village. If you intend to purchase you must get independent legal advice before signing your occupation right agreement as required under The Act. Further information about Retirement Villages is available in the section 'Frequent Questions'. Some Retirement Villages are not required to register under The Act so different legal requirements apply. Please do your homework.
