| Details re Meals | Menus change on a five weekly basis with a dietitian's input. Our main meal is served at 12 midday and some of our most popular meals are corned beef, apricot chicken and roasts to name a few. Morning and afternoon tea and supper are all prepared by Chris the cook who does a range of delicious home baking. Breakfast in bed is provided and is a continental breakfast with a choice of toast and spreads and/or cereals. Residents can also help themselves to tea and coffe and fruit at anytime. | |
| Staffing Details | Ratios of staff to residents differ on different shifts and in different wings. With our less dependent residents we have a ratio of 23 residents to 3 staff members during the day and with our more dependent residents we have a ratio of 18 to 5 staff members. We have many long serving staff members with several having been here over 16 years. Most have been here around 8 years. We run the ACE training programme to ensure that the staff are fully equip to meet your needs. | |
