Special Features
Wiltshire House is nestled in a picturesque residential area surrounded by beautiful gardens. Within the security of the home and garden we have a circuit walkway available for those residents who enjoy a wander. A bus stop is situated at the end of the cul-de-sac, enabling easy visiting of loved ones in our care. We provide quality individualised care in a homely environment, with home cooked meals and breakfast in bed for those who enjoy this. Please feel free to contact us to obtain a free information package on our facility.

Interests & Activities

Wiltshire House has a comprehensive activities programe 6hrs a day. This is run by a qualified Diversional Therapist during the week and an experienced activities person over the weekends.We have volunteers to help with the activities and regular outings in our Home Van. Supported activities are also provided to residents and families through the Alzheimer's Society and Age Concern. Some of our activities are listed below, and we welcome families to join in.
Board games, Bowls, Cards, Craft, Classical Music, Concerts and entertainment, Cooking, Email, Exercises, Games, Garden and outdoor activities, Happy Hour, Indoor Games, Library, Log fire,massage therapies, Minibus outings to actual destinations, walks in the park, Music, Newspaper reading, Pianist, Quizzes, Sing-a-longs, Videos,monthly Religious services

Details re Meals Home cooked & varied menu set by a dietician,we will endeavour to cater for all requirements that you desire. Meals may be eaten in a communual dinning room or other areas in the home eg. bedroom, sunroom or outside in the garden. We have picnics and fish n chips on a regular basis. Nutritious snacks can be served when anyone is hungry, including during the long night hours.
Staffing Details A Registered Nurse staff member is on duty 24hrs a day. Caregivers are trained in specialty dementia care and work 8hr shifts around the clock. We have a fully qualified Diversional Therapist working 6hrs per day. We have a house keeper, kitchen staff and gardrner
