St Johns Wood offers a range of options for aged care, with a choice of standard and premium care rooms, including Care Suites.
Your room is your own private space, so you can decorate it with your favourite pictures and ornaments. Standard rooms are large enough for a single bed, a chair and a wardrobe or chest of drawers. The cost of a standard room is included in the Care Services Fee set by the DHB. Premium rooms have additional features such as more space, an ensuite bathroom or outdoor access, but you’ll need to pay an extra amount per day to cover the cost of these premium features.
Being just minutes from the lake, St Johns Wood is in the perfect location to take advantage of the best Taupo has to offer – from shops and eateries, to beautiful walkways and stunning views. And with easy access to public transport, getting around or visiting friends and family is a breeze.

| At St Johns Wood staff are using the Connect programme which is used Oceania wide and demonstrates values of passion, respect and to deliver excellence. It keeps residents in contact with the wider community, and we encourage excellence in all we do. It gives residents hope of keeping mobile and exercising to reach their goals. We also have Nineteen Specialised Care Suites within our Rest Home/Hospital facility which are License to Occupy Units to which we provide either full rest home or hospital level care - the best of both worlds. |
