| Wendover started its life as a maternity Hospital. It was converted into a Rest Home in 1985. It has been extensively modernised over the years.
It is owned and operated by Coral and Charlie Hand who operate it as a family business. That family atmosphere is important as each Resident is encouraged to maintain their independance. Carers are always available to assist when needed. Residents are encouraged to participate fully in all aspects of the "Home" and enjoy the atmosphere. From May 2008 serviced appartments and studios will be available. These have been built to maximise the sun and wonderful view across the reserve and garden areas. |
