Situated in Wilson Street on the edge of the Firth of Thames approximately 2.5 kms from downtown Thames and along the coast road to the Coromandel, Tararu Village is located beside the sea and adjacent to our Tararu Rest home/Hospital facility. It is approximately 1 1/2 hours from Auckland, Hamilton and Tauranga. YOUR HOME IS YOUR CASTLE: Tararu Retirement Village is designed to provide the key elements for independent living - dignity, companionship, security and care. All homes at Tararu Village are built north facing with every consideration given to privacy. Some homes have excellent views out onto the Hauraki Gulf and across the Firth of Thames. The sunsets are magnificent.
