Special Features
Aparangi Village is an integral part of the township of Te Kauwhata and of the surrounding district. The village is so designed that there are no real defining boundaries. The vast majority of homes are individually designed; mostly north facing with views towards rural Waikato and the Hunua Ranges.

A rather unique retirement village where in essence "you own your own" dwelling, whether it be an existing home or you design and build a new one.

The Te Kauwhata Retirement Trust Board is a registered Charitable Trust.

NOTE: The Retirement Villages Act 2003 (hereafter referred to as The Act) is designed to provide improved protection for people who buy into a retirement village. If you intend to purchase you must get independent legal advice before signing your occupation right agreement as required under The Act. Further information about Retirement Villages is available in the section 'Frequent Questions'. Some Retirement Villages are not required to register under The Act so different legal requirements apply. Please do your homework.

In some villages there may be some units that have multiple uses e.g. a Serviced Apartment may also be used as a Residential Care Suite. The same unit may therefore show in several places on Eldernet.
