‘Flatting for over 55-year olds’
If you want to live independantly, in a secure family style home, and have company when you choose, or have time to yourself, Abbeyfield Roslyn House will give you all of this.
It's just like flatting, with the added benefit of having a live-in housekeeper, who purchases the household needs and prepares the two main meals each day. You can help yourself to breakfast, eating in the dining room or taking it back to your own suite.
Abbeyfield Roslyn House is a happy house as the residents set the rules, and the housekeeper and voluntary committee are there to serve the residents.
Have a look at our website: www.abbeyfield.org.nz and search for the Abbeyfield in the Palmerston North region.
Just a weekly rental, which is a share of the house expenses, is all that is required. This rental includes all your food, power, phone, and outgoings such as rates, etc.
In your suite there are connections for you computer, cable tv, private phone, etc.
For more information phone Cliff on 06 357 2830.
We'd love to show you through Abbeyfield Roslyn House.

Special Features
A guest room is a special feature of the house. This gives people interested in making Abbeyfield Roslyn House their home, the opportunity to stay as a guest for up to three weeks. This period enables them to identify whether they would fit in, would be happy to make this their home, and gives them time to get to know the current residents.

This room is also available for family of residents to visit, and for residents of other Abbbeyfield Houses to have a holiday at our place.

The guest room can also be used for respite stays, giving families who care for their elder member, a break or time for a holiday away.
