Tui Glen Rest Home is a "Boutique" establishment aiming to provide a positive, caring, friendly environment within a family atmosphere where Residents receive quality care. Our overarching statement of " Making a Positive Difference in Peoples Lives" extends beyond our Residents in care to include their extended famlies and significant others. Accordingly our care is designed to be all inclusive, to maintain dignity, privacy, individuality, promote good health in comfort and safety while retaining a purpose for living and maximising enjoyment for our Residents. |

| Tui Glen Rest Home has a policy of continually striving to increase the scope and opportunity for Residents to have greater involvement with the community both within the home and outside.
Home located on elevated site with full ramp access,all day sun, nice gardens and excellent outdoor areas for Residents. A six bed Christian home with an emphasis on providing a caring family environment similar to what Residents would have been used to before leaving their own home. |

Regular in house visits from Age Concern, Senior Citizens by arrangement (also Probus, Stroke Group, Service men and women and other support groups),optional visits to local art gallery and shops.

| Staffing Details | Nelson Nursing Service contracted to Rest Home. Atje and Eion are supported by 4 partime qualified staff and the Activities Co-ordinator. During our last Audit (May 2010) comment was recorded on our staff lenght of service, Resident focused care delivery by staff and the positive staff/managemet/resident relationship that exsists. Our Registered Nurse is on the floor every Wednesday, their service to us is contracted as on call 24/7.
