Special Features
Mount Victoria Lifecare is warm and homely nestled in the trees of Mount Victoria. The sun streams into the rooms and lounges all day long. A bus stop is right outside the door for visitors and residents. However it is within walking distance of Wellington Hospital and other health professional services in Central Wellington.

Mount Victoria Lifecare is fortunate to have very loyal staff and in particular the Clinical Nurse Leader, Kathy Gilbert, has been working in aged care for a very long time. Her expertise enables her to lead her staff to provide the quality care the residents deserve.

The Recreation activities programme is a real plus for the Mount Victoria Lifecare Residents. It is full of varied interesting activities which keep the residents involved and as active as possible. The van is used to take the residents on regular trips to interesting parts of Wellington.

The Day Care programme benefits from the opportunity to work in with the Activities programme. Those people who enjoy the programme can come every day of the week if they wish. They receive a main meal and morning & afternoon tea. If they require other assistance such as showering, the staff at Mount Victoria Lifecare are able to accommodate this.
