| Lady Joy is proud to offer you log fire warmth and daily home baking making you feel right at home.
We are not too big or too small which means we are able to tailor the home to the residents, whilst still having all the top professional caregivers, nursing staff and facilities. Often we can have even numbers of both Men and Ladies (this is not typical for Rest Homes), this adds to a wonderful atmosphere. We are close to town (7 minutes) but back onto wonderful farmland, many established trees and a big orchard to walk through and pick the fruit. Named after the late Mayoress of Wanganui, Joy Poynter, who gave freely of her time for many many years using her skills as a hairdresser to make the lives of many elderly people happier. The Rose named in her honour is planted around the home. Please come and visit |

Menues are dietition approved and on a 6 weekly cycle which ensures all receive a wonderful range of foods that dont get boring and giving healthy nutrition.
