Our Residents tell us: "Green Gables is like a great big family”.
The rest home part of this Nelson-based aged care facility has room to care for 30 seniors. Green Gables is set in an historic house and is only a short distance from central Nelson. Medical centres, the Queens Gardens, the post shop, coffee shops and the river are all close by. Excursions in our van, picnics, concerts, music, bowls, housie and tai chi are just some of the activities enjoyed by our residents. We have nice gardens and a number of sunny areas for residents to relax in. Green Gables is part of the Oceania Group, a member of the Retirement Villages Association and the New Zealand Aged Care Association.
