Registered Nurse Yes Our resthome has a full time registered nurse dedicated to this area, as well as a highly skilled Clinical Manager, who overviews the clinical care of all residents in the resthome.

Healthcare Assistants/Caregivers Yes As much as possible, the same caregivers will care for you each shift so they will get to know you well. All our caregivers are supported to undertake training in care of the older person.

Activities Co-ordinator Yes We have a dedicated Activities Coordinator in the resthome who works 5 days per week and delivers a wide range of activities for the resident to participate in should they wish.

Special Features
We have lovely internal courtyards which residents have access to from their bedrooms. Bedrooms on outside of the facility have lovely views to the bowling green.

Ryman have now introduced a new initiative of providing Resthome Level care in our Serviced Apartments. Please contact the village for information.

Interests & Activities

We have a seperate activities co-ordinator for the rest home who prepares a comprehensive and interesting activities programme for our residents.

The activities co-ordinator also takes residents on outings and particularly on shopping trips.

Details re Meals All our meals are cooked on site and have that lovely ome cooked quality. Our main meal is served at lunch time with a lighter meal being served in the evening. Morning and afternoon tea and supper all consist of delicious home baking from our kitchen. We cater for all special dietary requirements and endeavour to cater for personal preferences where possible. Our menus change on a seasonal basis.
Staffing Details We pride ourselves on encouraging our staff to upskill and so are confident that our staff have the skill and abilities to meet our resident's needs. Our staff have all completed or are in the process of completing their "Ace" training and a large number hold a Certificate in the Care of the Older Person.

Library 2.00 km Stoke Library is located in the centre of Stoke approximately 2km away. We also have a library on site in the Village.
