We have disabled our ‘feedback’ feature. We apologise for any inconvenience. Find out more here: I want to read reviews of rest homes

Visitors with limitations - please call us first
We provide a quality, and individualised Rest Home, Respite, Convalescent and Hospital Level Care in a personalised and homely environment using the InteRAI Assessment Tool, endorsed by The Ministry of Health, to assess residents needs and establish Long Term Care Plans, to ensure the resident receives the most appropriate care to meet their assessed needs. This is done in consultation with the family by a Registered Nurse and filed online through an integrated computing system. This means the plan can be reviewed readily through different agencies when needed.

This is done within our small, privately owned Rest Home which has a friendly, caring and homely environment designed to fit you and your loved ones needs. We have competent, kind and caring staff who genuinely care for the needs and health of the residents under their care. We have home cooked meals and baking. All our washing is done on site, so there is minimal missing clothes.

We offer this quality and personalised care within a homely environment in a country setting, with an outlook onto farms and grazing animals, and a fresh country breeze that proves to be very beneficial to our residents health.

We provide a range of services which include Long Term Hospital, Rest Home, Day Care, Respite Care and Convalescent Care for both the elderly and under 65.

Recently Brylyn has been awarded with a 3 year certification from the Waikato District Health Board to provide residential care at the above levels of care requirements. We are very happy and pleased to receive this certification and look forward to achieving better results with quality improvements, staff training and support from WDHB. This achievement is a reflection of the quality care provided by our Brylyn Care Team.

Book your loved ones into Brylyn Residential Care for Respite , Long Term Care at Hospital or Resthome Level, or needing time to recover from a operation or an illness or for Convalescent Care while you recuperate.

We have dedicated respite care rooms. Please email brylynresthome@gmail.com or phone: 07 8494025 or 02102574007 WE ACCEPT HALF DAY STAYS as well as FULL RESPITE DAYS. You can discuss with Disability Support Link on the number of Respite Days available for use if you need a break from caring for a loved one at home.
