| Our high staff to resident ratio and our culture makes Armourdene different.
We are small (28 beds) with highly personalised programmes. We encourage all residents to be active and to treat Armourdene as if it were their own home. We encourage acceptance of our settlement package - talk to us about a free introductory stay. Armourdene - "your home away from home". On 4th February 2006 Armourdene took over Alphacare Riverview Rest Home, on the banks of the Waikato River. With 43 beds available, we can now offer a second option for residents who want choice and a variety of services in a homely environment. The shared activities programme offers a significant boost to our offering to all residents. |

We encourage lots of activity 5 days a week with one fulltime co-ordinator. Much of our activity is onsite, but visits around Hamilton are very common, and regular.
