Special Features
We are a small rural rest home and enjoy the informality and usual comings and goings of a family home. Friends, children and family members drop in many days of the week and spend time with us. They join in the activities provided, often staying for a cuppa and home baking and quickly become part of our family.

In a rural community everyone knows everyone else and when a visitor calls they usually see 3 or 4 Residents.

We encourage individual interests and hobbies.

Several of our people contribute to the household chores. Some enjoy the garden, others help with domestic tasks: setting tables, putting dishes away, hanging out washing, folding clothes etc. One Resident collects the mail from the Post Office everyday. We like everyone to feel useful and valued.

We understand that new Residents need time to settle into their new surroundings as each come from different backgrounds, life experiences, values and beliefs. Our aim is to create a harmonious atmosphere in our home. Being a small home we can provide individualised support to each Resident.

The Amberley Medical Centre provide a full range of services: Wellness Clinic, and heated physiotherapy pool.

Weekly Podiatry services are available at Amberley Pharmacy.

We provide country living with city amenities.
