Kauri Mental Health , is the current name of our ten bed facility. The ten beds are configured in the following way - eight of our ten beds are designated for long term care, the other two are designated for assessment beds. These assessment beds are short term (for the purpose of assessment), it is envisaged no longer than fourteen days. We accept referrals only from the Whanganui District Health Board.
