Wesley Village has a 43 Bed Hospital with 6 exclusive Rooms for Rest Home level of care and a further 5 beds for Pre Booked Respite Care. .
The Hospital is situated in lovely Mt Eden with panoramic views over Auckland city. and also out to the Waitakeres . Wesley has a number of rooms that open into beautiful garden areas. With a focus on specialised, high dependency care living at Wesley Village allows you to relax and enjoy the good things in life. Public transport is readily accessible as are some of Auckland's best cafes,parks and Gardens. Wesley Hospital also hosts an active Respite Programme which aims to accommodate varying individual needs over a one-off or regular respite period. Pre booking of Respite care is encouraged. All potential residents and/or their families are encouraged to visit the facility ahead of admission to develop familiarity with the accommodation layout, as well as outline specific requirements and considerations for staff to plan, implement and monitor during their intended stay. Upon arrival to Wesley Hospital residents are introduced to their assigned Registered Nurse, Primary Carer and Diversional Therapist, who will be their primary care providers. A short-term care plan is prepared, and a medical examination is completed. The allocation of permanent care staff to residents facilitates the rapid settling-in experience at Wesley, and enhances the support relationship with visiting family and friends. Upon departure, respite residents, their families and the Respite Program Coordinator convene to review the stay at Wesley, targeting improvement opportunities for future Respite Program stays.
