Special Features

Rendell on Reed is a 55 bed rest home/hospital that is made up of 2 "wings". We have 16 hospital beds and four "Swing Beds". Although we are next to the Catholic Church we are an interdenominational home. Original Wing was built in the early 1900's and was used as a convent. It still has original features like stained glass windows and ornate ceilings. The Classic Wing was built in 1999 and was purpose built. All rooms on Classic have ensuite facilities. We have views of the sea from a number of vantage points and the home is bright, light and spacious.

Details re Meals		Our meals are delicious! All food is prepared in our own kitchen on the premises. We can cater for different dietary needs such as diabetics and vegetarians. We also provide meals for the community via Meals on Wheels catering.
Staffing Details		We have six full time Registered Nurses, leading a team of dedicated Care staff. Training Care Staff to deliver excellent care is an important focus for Rendell on Reed.
Associated Complexes		We are right next to the Catholic Church but we are inter-dominational
Fees Details/Fees Do Not Include		Full fees and what the fees do not include can be accessed by ringing Rendell on Reed and asking for a pack to be sent out. Due to the government changing the cap for Subsidy payment it is difficult to give this information in this forum.
