Gardens are extensive (open to every room), indoor games provided, RSA members are regular visitors, we attend Senior Citizen's functions, church/religious services are held on site, cooking programme on site, exercises provided, regular happy hour, massage, movies, music, notable rural views, newspaper reading, quizzes, shopping, members of ADARDS Alzheimer's Society, Greypower. |

We have recently farewelled our manager Jan Hansen, and Jill Briscoe has now commenced as our facility manager. Jill has over 20 years experience managing aged care facilities, and her most recent employment was at Sunningdale Rest Home and Hospital in Hamilton, where she gained extensive insight into the challenges facing returned service persons and those with dementia. |
