| Radius Baycare Home & Hospital is purpose built with comfortable access ways, large size rooms, 3 acres to wander , and a lovely Country setting. It is in the beautiful Bay of Islands and is 3 kms from Paihia, 9 kms from Opua and approximately 35 kms away is the beautiful Town of Kerikeri. |

| Details re Meals | All meals are cooked on site by our two dedicated cooks. We are currently in the process of changing our menus completely, and the new meals will have Dietitian oversite. Plenty of variety is available, with vegitarian and diabetic diets catered for. | |
| Staffing Details | We have 2Senior RN's , a very capable Senior EN, and around 20 very dedicated Care Givers. All Care givers undergo Inservice training on and off site. Our RN's are active ion attending topical inservice at Hospice and the Public Hospital, as available. We have two lovely cleaners who do a superb job, two laundry staff to cater for all items of clothing etc, two kitchen hands to assist our two cooks. Our handyman Gavin is totally irreplaceable, and keeps our Hospital & Resthome in excellent condition. Our assistant manager works five days a week and is available to help our Residents in any way she can. Last but not least, our current Activities person is wonderful and will bring the sunshine out of everyone. | |
