| History of the home. The home was originally the Quinn's Post Motel attached to the Hotel which was demolished and rebuilt in 1998.

Children are encouraged to visit and are included in the entertainement, we recieve regular literature from Age Concern, involved with the Alzheimer's Society annual "cuppa for a cause", Blind Foundation supplies talking books and visits occasionally, RSA vist regularly on a Sunday, residents attend Stroke Group as able/desired, card games once a week, weekly church services, craft once a week, entertainment (concerts on a regular basis, school groups and professionals), exercises twice a week, garden (several courtyards, residents are able to water the garden and pick flowers), happy hour Fridays 4-5pm, indoor games (floor and table variety), we have our own library, mobile library also visits weekly, hand and foot massage plus footspas available, electric beds, music played regularly, notable views (surrounded by bush and hillsides), newspaper reading every week, weekly quizzes, shopping arranged as needed/requested, Sky TV (option available), video showing as desired, outings at least twice a week (rotational), hairdresser on site 3 days a week, manicures available. |
