Smooth Transitions® provides individuals and families the emotional and physical assistance needed when elderly family members make a change in living arrangements by managing the move process.
We fill the gap between you and the moving company. We help you with all the details from downsizing, decluttering, sorting, donating, packing, unpacking, and setting up in your new home. We do as little or as much as is needed to provide the required support. Our facility also offers these services: |

| Smooth Transitions did a wonderful job of helping me move my father-in-law in Wellington. I live in Auckland and could not be down there all the time to manage the move. Mihi Sinclair was amazing and took over when I could not be there. She also assisted me when I was in Wellington and together we got the job done in a most efficient manner.

| Smooth Transitions® New Zealand Limited can help with as little or as much as you and your family need to enable you to move with the minimum of stress. They will do everything they can to to ensure your transition from your family home to a smaller home is not an overwhelming experience.
Sometimes it is in the best interests of family dynamics to use an independent company. We provide a plan and a checklist to manage the move and provide support when required. Smooth Transitions® can coordinate all aspects of the moving process. The sale of household items that are not suitable for your new home will offset a portion of our fee. We provide an inhome one-hour free consultation. Our goal is to be cost neutral to our client. "What we do is help with the transition to make it as smooth as possible.” |

| Smooth Transitions® is a registered supplier to WINZ. All applications for an advance are income and asset tested. Advances are available for both Smooth Transition® services and for the moving company.
WINZ and Smooth Transitions® have partnered to ensure that those seniors that need the most help will receive it, compassionately and with thought to how each individuals needs will be best met. |
