This Meals on Wheels Service is organised by the Riccarton Interchurch Community Care Society. It began 18 years ago in response to a survey to establish needs in the area. It continues today to help you. Delivered from Bishopdale to Hornby and Riccarton to Spreydon etc.
Having problems over meals? Let us help. We can supply a hot meal Monday to Friday and frozen over the weekend. Just ring (03) 348 9045 between 8am - 10.30am for further details. We deliver hot meals mid-day to anyone who has a need. Following time in hospital? Recovering from illness? Can't get out? Unable to manage? Just want a break from cooking? CHARGES: $5 main meal, $6 large meal, $1.50 dessert, $5.50 for frozen. No doctors' referral needed. Orders can be for a full week or as many days as you wish. Payment collected on Friday.
