In Nelson and Marlborough, our Enliven Positive Ageing services help older people to live at home with dignity and purpose. We affirm older peoples right to self-determination and provide services which value the uniqueness of each individual.

Enliven Positive Ageing Services include

Home Support - flexible support and assistance tailored to your needs

Totara Marlborough - good company and an activity programme from 10am to 3pm. Transport available

Community Social Work - social support for people over 65 and their families

Falls Prevention - a strength and balance programme involving Tai Chi sessions

Day Care (Dementia Care) Yes Yes No The dementia day care provides a carer relief service 5 days a week. It is run by the Alzheimer's Society using Presbyterian Support premises.

Subsidy Details
Subsidies are available for household help and personal cares through contracts with ACC and Health Funding Authority. We can also access Disabilty Support subsidy from Work and Income, especially for our day prograqmme. (If you are eligible.)
