Enliven is part of Presbyterian Support and in Otago we offer a wide range of services built around the philosophy that with the right support, ageing can be a positive experience.

Positive ageing is about maintaining relationships with family and friends and feeling a sense of contribution and satisfaction in what you do.

We believe that feeling supported and secure, and being as active and involved as possible, are very important if you wish to remain living in your own home.

Through a variety of Enliven services, staff members not only take your day to day practical needs into consideration, but also the emotional support and encouragement that can make all the difference. A major advantage is that we can offer personally tailored programmes based on your changing needs - programmes aimed at helping you to build strength and resilience, and to achieve personal goals based on what is important to you.

Enliven also has services for other members of your family: day activity groups for older people wanting social contact; housework and personal care for those assessed by ACC and other health agencies as needing such support; housework services for those out at work; and support services for those who are caring for unwell family members. Brochures for all services can be accessed below.

Enliven is accredited by the Health & Disability Association of New Zealand (HDANZ), is an Accident Compensation Commission (ACC) Contracted Provider of home based care, and an active member of the New Zealand Home Health Association.
